Angel Howard, LCSW
Angel Howard attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2015 and her Master’s Social Work in 2017. Angel Howard is licensed clinical social worker with over 6 years of experience in the mental health field. She has worked at Tucker Psychiatric Pavilion as clinician, as well as District 19 Community Services Board as an emergency services therapist. Angel has a passion for helping individuals work through mental health challenges that may hold them back from being their authentic self. Angel uses a strength-based and trauma informed approach to therapy and will meet you where you are in your journey towards growth. Angel Howard is an active member of the National Association of Black Social Workers where she enjoys giving back to her community and volunteering during her free time.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY (ages 13+)
Erica Lurry, LCSW
Erica Lurry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Erica is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she obtained her Master’s in Social Work and her Bachelor’s in Psychology and African American Studies. Erica has years of experience working with children and adolescents, specifically related to counseling and mental health. Most recently, Erica has worked inpatient acute psychiatric as an acute adolescent clinician. While working in inpatient acute care, she worked with patients to develop individualized treatment plans and facilitated individual and family therapy, among many other things. Erica has a certificate in Trauma Focused– Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Erica practices from a Strengths-Based Person-Centered approach. Erica is passionate about helping others and giving back to her community. She is actively involved with the National Association of Black Social Workers and served as the VCU Chapter President during her graduate studies.
